Females can deposit one to five eggs a day and they can lay 200 to 500 eggs in a lifetime. If conditions are optimal, bed bugs can live for more than 300 days. Bed bugs may not leave any marks behind and the best way you’ll know you have a problem is seeing them. They’re about the size of an apple seed and you may also see case skins after they shed and fecal spots that look like pepper flakes.
