Insects Have Mad Hops: If you look at how high a person can jump, you may think it is pretty high. Scientists tested some of the best jumpers from the NBA and NFL and found that they were able to jump about 46 inches which is pretty impressive. But that is nothing compared to what an insect is able to do. Many insects are able to jump much higher than their own body but one out jumps them all. There is a pest called meadow froghopper that is able to jump 100 times its own height.
